Talk about the purpose of CNC woodworking engraving machine
Today, Xiaobian understands the purpose of the CNC woodworking engraving machine for the knife. Let's understand it together.
In the machining of CNC woodworking engraving machine, the machining origin of the engraving material should be determined first to establish an accurate machining coordinate system, and the influence of different dimensions of the tool on the machining is considered. The accuracy of the tool determines the machining accuracy of the part. At the same time, the efficiency of the tool also directly affects the efficiency of the engraving. These need to be solved by the tool setting.
Principle of tool setting: A deep understanding of the principle of the knife setting of the engraving machine has a clear meaning for the operator to maintain a clear tooling idea, master the tool setting operation and propose a new tool setting method. The purpose of the tool is to establish the workpiece coordinate system. The intuitive statement is that the tool is to establish the position of the workpiece in the engraving machine table. In fact, it is to find the coordinates of the tool point in the table coordinate system. For the engraving machine, the tool point must be selected before machining. The tool point refers to the starting point of the tool relative to the workpiece when the workpiece is machined by the engraving machine. The tool point can be set on the workpiece (such as the design reference or positioning reference on the workpiece), or it can be set on the fixture or workbench. If it is set at a certain point on the fixture or table, the point must be related to the workpiece. The positioning reference maintains a dimensional relationship of a certain precision.
The purpose of CNC woodworking engraving machine
When the tool is set, the finger position should be coincident with the tool point. The so-called tool point is the positioning reference point of the tool. For the engraving knife, the tool point is the tool tip. The purpose of the tool setting is to determine the absolute coordinate value of the tool point (or workpiece origin) in the table coordinate system and measure the tool position deviation value of the tool. The accuracy of the correction of the tool point directly affects the machining accuracy. When actually machining a workpiece, the use of a tool generally does not meet the machining requirements of the workpiece. Usually, multiple tools are used for machining. When using multiple engraving knives, the geometric position of the cusp points will change after the tool change position, which requires different tools to start machining at different starting positions. Ensure that the program is working properly. In order to solve this problem, the engraving machine is equipped with the function of tool geometry position compensation. With the tool geometry position compensation function, as long as the position deviation of each knife relative to a pre-selected reference tool is measured in advance, it is input to the engraving machine. In the tool parameter correction column, the tool number can be automatically compensated for the tool position deviation in the tool path by using the T command in the machining program. The measurement of the tool position deviation is also carried out by the tool setting operation.
1, the general knife
The general tool setting refers to the manual tool setting using the relative position detection on the CNC woodworking machine. The Z-direction tool is taken as an example to illustrate the tool setting method. After the tool is installed, the tool is manually moved to manually engrave the right end surface of the workpiece, and then the tool is retracted along the X direction. The distance between the right end surface and the machining origin is input into the CNC system, that is, the tool is completed. Z-direction tool setting process. Manual tool setting is the basic tool setting method, but it still does not jump out of the 1325 woodworking engraving machine's "test-measure--adjust" tool setting mode, taking up more time on the machine. This method is relatively backward.
2, the machine outside the knife to the knife
The tool set is important for the customer of the embossing machine. It is very convenient for the user to determine the working zero position of the Z-axis. In the process of engraving, if there is a broken knife, rough finishing and replacement of different types of tools, the tool setting instrument can be used to complete the accurate Z-axis positioning. The user must input the thickness of the tool setting block into the parameter. When the file is executed, the system automatically moves the zero position down to the depth of the tool holder block thickness, so that the Z axis working zero point can be truly determined. The essence of the off-machine tool is to measure the distance between the tool's imaginary tool tip point and the tool table reference in the X and Z directions. The tool can be pre-calibrated outside the machine by using the tool setting tool outside the machine. After the machine is installed, the corresponding tool compensation number can be input to the tool length. The tool can be used to record the position. Therefore, if it is a multi-class small batch processing, it is best to use a tool setting tool to save time.
3, automatic tool setting
The automatic tool setting is realized by the tool nose detection system. The tool tip approaches the contact sensor at the set speed. When the tool tip contacts the sensor and sends a signal, the CNC system immediately records the coordinate value of the moment and automatically corrects the tool. Compensation value. Automatic tool setting process.
