Some common lubrication methods for SKF bearings

1, solid lubrication

Under some special conditions, a small amount of solid lubricant is added to the grease. For example, adding 3~5% of molybdenum disulfide No. 1 can reduce wear and improve the resistance to pressure and heat. For high temperature, elegance, high vacuum and corrosion resistance. Special conditions such as anti-radiation and extremely low temperature, the solid lubricant can be added into engineering plastics or powder metallurgy materials to make SKF bearing parts with self-lubricating properties, such as bonding solid lubricant to the raceway with adhesive. On the cage and the rolling element, a lubricating film is formed, which has a certain effect on reducing friction and wear.

2, oil lubrication:

Viscosity is an important characteristic of lubricating oil. The viscosity directly affects the fluidity of lubricating oil and the thickness of oil film formed between friction surfaces. The viscosity of lubricating oil at SKF bearing working temperature is generally 12-15cst. The higher the speed, the lower the viscosity, and the heavier the load, the higher the viscosity. Commonly used lubricating oils include mechanical oil, high-speed mechanical oil, turbine oil, compressor oil, transformer oil, cylinder oil, and the like.

Oil lubrication methods include:

a. oil bath lubrication

Oil bath lubrication is the most common lubrication method. It is suitable for the lubrication of low and medium speed SKF bearings. SKF bearings are partially immersed in the groove. The lubricating oil is taken up by the rotating SKF bearing parts and then flows back to the oil groove. Below the center of the lowest rolling body.

b. drip lubrication

Drip oil lubrication is suitable for SKF bearing parts that need to supply lubricating oil quantitatively. The amount of oil dripping is generally one drop every 3-8 seconds. Excessive oil quantity will cause the temperature of SKF bearing to increase.

c. Circulating oil lubrication

The filtered oil is transferred to the SKF bearing component by an oil pump, and the oil after passing through the SKF bearing is filtered and cooled for use. Since the circulating oil can take away a certain amount of heat and cool the SKF bearing, this method is suitable for SKF bearing parts with higher speed.

Maintenance and maintenance of agricultural machinery NSK bearings

The steel ball and groove are worn out, the clearance is too large, and radial and axial sway is generated, which should be replaced in time. If the individual balls are worn out seriously, the steel balls with lighter wear and no pitting may be replaced on the old NSK bearings of the same type.

Lubricating oil should be provided. The self-aligning NSK bearing sealed at both ends does not need to be filled with lubricating oil during use. It should be removed after the end of the working season and lubricated from the small hole of the sealing cover.

When loading and unloading NSK bearings, do not hard knock hard, especially pay attention to not hit the outer casing of NSK bearing, you should gently tap the inner ring of NSK bearing.
